An ongoing legal dispute between Samsung and Apple has finally reached a verdict and South Korea's decision does not bode well for either electronics manufacturer.
According to a report from BBC, South Korea has imposed a limited ban that nationally prevents the sale of any and all products that were covered during the case.
The ban will prevent the sale of the Apple's iPhone3GS, iPhone4, iPad and iPad 2. On the Samsung side of things, the ban will prevent the sale of the Galaxy I and II, Galaxy Tab and Galaxy Tab 10.1.
The decision specified that Apple had apparently infringed upon two of Samsung's patents and Samsung had infringed upon one of Apple's.
In addition, this verdict comes just before the decision from a California jury on whether or not another patent trial will fall the way of Apple or Samsung.
In the way of damages, the South Korean court ordered Apple to pay Samsung a total of $35,000 in damages, and Samsung to pay Apple roughly $22,000.
Subtraction aside, it obviously leaves Apple short over $10,000 in the matter, which is probably more like chump change for the world's most valuable company.
