The repair service iResQ has ventured an experiment. The company got hold of all previously available iPhone 5 components and the alleged iPhone 5 case and tried to use the components in the case. The result: Everything is perfect! Is this pure coincidence, or a large-scale deception campaign? Or is this really the iPhone 5?
Should this really be the next Apple iPhone 5 this would be surprising, because Apple puts great emphasis on secrecy. Now, however, this does not seem to be the case and a large part of the details of the iPhone 5 are already in circulation. The parts confirm the many suspected changes. The iPhone 5 will have a longer screen, the dock connector is smaller and the headphone jack moves to the bottom of the case. The back is also mainly made of metal instead of glass.
Moderate changes
The changes compared to the previous iPhone 4S are relatively moderate. However, this will not disappoint some Apple fans. Recently rumors had arisen to an iPhone with a tear drop design, such a prototype is said to have existed in 2011, but has now been rejected.
There is still some hope for Apple fans. It is not unlikely that iResQ and Co. have been pursuing a forgery. Smartphone manufacturers often have new models go into dummy packages in the testing phase in order to disguise the final design. Samsung made the Galaxy S3 with three different models. As for the iPhone 5 release date, latest reports still suggest a Sept. 12 keynote address and the official release set for Sept. 21st.
