Apple iPhone 5 debuts with new connector as major design change (Video)

Lifestyles of today depend on electronics. App le sends their sweet fruit out to the public with much fanfare to tempt them with the newest tablets and phones. Just as Samsung continues to takes a huge bite out of Apple, the new iPhone 5 has arrived.

The iPhone 5 has finally been unveiled.

For months the world has been holding their breaths in anticipation for the arrival of Apple's newest iPhone. Folks have been holding back on purchasing the popular Samsung Galaxy III in order to compare the two.

With all of the hype Apple has not added anything special to the iPhone 5.

Apple has added a couple of features but not anything truly exciting has been added to the iPhone 5. How could they top Siri added to the iPhone 4S? The screen in bigger so Apple can now compete with their archrival's Samsung Galaxies III screen size. The iPhone 5 is thinner than the chunkier iPhone 4S. Apple has upgraded the camera and has added a new Panorama addition in order to take high definition panoramic photographs.

Apple has finally caught up to the faster speeds of 4G LTE.

Finally Apple has upgrade the iPhone to run on 4G LTE networks allowing for much faster browsing. They have also added an A6 processer to assist in making it faster. In the past, Apple has had issues with the iPhone phone calls. The newest iPhone is said to perform much better with three microphones and noise-canceling ear phones.

The new iPhone 5 should stay powered up longer.

The battery in the new iPhone 5 is supposed to last longer than it's predecessors. Apple is saying that the new battery should have 8 hours of talking time or web surfing on a 3G network, and 225 hours if just on standby.

The biggest change is the new smaller dock connector.

Named Lightning, the new dock connector makes its debut along with the iPhone 5. It is 80 percent smaller than the familiar old flat dock connector and is also reversible making it easier to connect. Where all other manufacturers use interchangeable USB connectors, Apple only uses its own designed cables and then charges companies fees for manufacturing products specifically made for use with iPhone.

The new connector may or may not be a good move for Apple.

Is this a good change or a bad one? Perhaps the most distinctive attribute for the Apple iPhones has been the uniquely designed connector. Hotel rooms, car manufacturers, gym equipment, and home entertainment systems have all integrated the Apple docking system into their products paying fees to Apple for doing so. This may cause many issues when people with the new iPhone 5 Attempt to plug in. While companies are now examining how to update to enable docking of the new iPhone 5, Apple will be cashing in by charging an additional $29 to the consumer for the needed adapter.

True Apple devotees will be running out to purchase the newest device, but Apple will still have a battle competing with Samsung's Galaxy III. Competition make the consumer the winner with newer and better technology. Have fun with the newest of smartphones. Text and talk responsibly and never be afraid to dance!
