All the details on the iPhone 5

That magic moment is here, when Apple takes the veil off their latest smartphone. The iPhone 5 was revealed today to a select few journalists, and it's everything you hoped it would be.

Topping the list of new features in the new iPhone is a 4-inch screen with a resolution of 326ppi and a ratio of 1136x640. Even though it has a larger screen the phone still manages to be 20 percent lighter and 18 percent thinner than the iPhone 4S.

As if that wasn't enough to whet your appetite, the iPhone 5 will be LTE enabled on AT&T, Verzion, and Sprint. There's also an 802.11 a/b/g/n capabilities so you can jump on pretty much any WiFi imaginable.

Rounding out the newest specs on the new iPhone is an A6 processor that is both 22 percent smaller and twice as fast as the one in the 4S. The new smaller size of the CPU means that you can squeeze more battery life out of the phone; up to 8 hours on LTE and 10 if you're using WiFi.

The phone will be available for sale on September 19, but there are no details as of yet as to how much each carrier will charge. Feel free to subscribe so you can receive a friendly email to inform you of all the latest gadget news!
