Eddie Hold from NPD Group said,
"Last time around, the big news was Sprint got the iPhone, and that widened the possibilities, but it was still pretty much the same phone, same networks, roughly similar pricing everywhere."
This time, though, you may actually have a chance to get a better deal depending on which carrier you choose. Because of this, you may not want to pre-order the second that Apple announces the new iPhone 5 on Wednesday, September 12.
