The iPhone 5 is probably the worst kept secret in the history of Apple. The revelations follow one another at a breakneck pace. We are now less than a week away from the presentation of this phone and it already seems we know almost everything about the iPhone 5.
Is the famous cult of secrecy at Apple that was introduced by Steve Jobs already a distant memory? This may now be the case, and it must be mentioned that many Apple products have already been partially revealed before their release. For example, the iPhone 4, a prototype was fortuitously discovered in a bar and talked about on the blog Gizmodo.
When Apple launched the production of the iPhone 5, an alleged prototype was found in a shop a few days later. With such levels of production, and despite safety rules established with its Asian subcontractors, Apple has failed to prevent leakage of components from the iPhone 5. This information is important, especially for accessories manufacturers who want their products to be in the stores the same time as the iPhone 5 release date.
In fact, the only time Apple has managed to really protect the secrecy surrounding a new product in recent years, was the marketing of the first iPhone and first iPad. As for the iPhone 5, the leaks have been too numerous to go unnoticed.
