If you've been dying to know when the new iPhone would be unveiled, you're in luck! This Tuesday, Apple sent out invitations to several media outlets to an event that will unveil their latest phone.
The event is all set up for next Wednesday, September 12th, at 1:00 PM EDT. While the pictured invitation doesn't expressly say the iPhone 5 will be announced, it's not much of an assumption that it will be the main star of the event. You'll notice that the 12 on the invite casts a shadow of the number 5. That's really all the clues we need to know what will go down next week.
It's expected that preorders of the smart phone will start that day, with them being shipped out around two weeks later on the 26th.
There has been a lot of speculation as to what the new iPhone will consist of, but the general consensus is that it will be a little bit taller, to support its bigger screen, and a little bit thinner. Tech enthusiasts are also guessing the phone will finally 4G capable and will have a slightly improved processor and screen resolution.
I'll be sure to report all the goodies that are announced next week, so subscribe now and you won't miss a thing!
