iPhone 5 release date rumors: Components for new Apple iPhone 5 leaked

In the latest iPhone 5 release date rumors, it appears the components list for the new Apple smartphone has been leaked online. The latest reports gives details on various specs and features including the battery, sensors, nanoSIM tray and more.

According to PCWorld, the list was obtained by New Zealand PCWorld and matches images already leaked by repair company iResQ. The document was originally sent to a parts supplier in China and details the rumored iPhone 5 components. PCWorld says the components leaked "appear to be legitimate."

Among the components are the new battery, the new power/dock connection which features a 9-pin connector, and the two-tone rear panel. Also included are flexible sensors, and a nano SIM or microSIM tray. Additionally there is a look at the phone's vibrator component which is said to be similar to what the iPhone 5 has.

All of these iPhone 5 rumors should be put to rest in less than two weeks. Apple is still expected by many reputable sources to hold a major event on September 12th where they will unveil both the new iOS 6 operating system, and their new Apple iPhone 5. After that, it's widespread speculation that the smartphone itself will be released to the U.S. on September 21st.
